Believe in Tomorrow on the Beach - Events, Maintenance, Cleaning or Donation Drives

Can you hear the waves soothing your soul? Imagine the smile on a child's face. Volunteers like you are needed. Volunteer by the sea, on the bay, or on Fenwick Island.

EVENTS/FESTIVALS

We need your help with planning, executing, and fundraising for many annual events in Ocean City, MD, and the surrounding area.  These events include Believe In Tomorrow sponsored events like our gala, golf tournament, 5K run and others.  It also includes local festivals like Springfest, Sunfest and the annual Boat Show.

Beach Items

The children and families who visit our oceanfront properties love to play with sand toys and relax in beach chairs or on cozy beach towels. We’re in constant need of new beach items to replace those that are lost or broken during play.

Outdoor Maintenance

Help us battle the salty air and gusty winds at each facility by pulling weeds, sweeping or power washing decks and siding, and maintaining our many gardens. 

Deep Cleaners

Create a safe and welcoming place for families to stay by joining our deep cleaning team. This is an “as needed” opportunity that takes place during the spring and fall.

Wish List Drives

Anyone can become a volunteer by organizing and hosting a wish list drive for our facilities. This is a great opportunity for a school, community, or social group to help with! Please contact us at 410-723-2842 to find out our biggest needs at this time.

If you’re willing to lend us a hand and join our most dedicated community of volunteers, check out the volunteer opportunities available and then submit your volunteer application to be considered! Our beach respite houses include the Believe In Tomorrow House By The Sea on 66th Street and the Believe In Tomorrow House On the Bay on 28th Street (both in Ocean City, MD), as well as the Believe In Tomorrow House on Fenwick Island in the Mallard Lakes community of Fenwick Island, DE.
