Can you hear the waves soothing your soul? Imagine the smile on a child's face. Volunteers like you are needed. Volunteer by the sea, on the bay, or on Fenwick Island.
- Events/Festivals - Volunteers help with planning, executing, and fundraising for many annual events in Ocean City, MD, and the surrounding area. These events include Believe In Tomorrow sponsored events like our gala, golf tournament, 5K run, and others. It also includes local festivals like Springfest, Sunfest, and the annual Boat Show.
- Outdoor Maintenance - Volunteers who love gardening will enjoy working with their hands to maintain the ground's gardens. Maintenace of the decks by sweeping or power washing decks. Power washing the siding.
- Deep Cleaners - Volunteers who enjoy a sparkling clean home will enjoy supporting the deep cleaning team. This is an “as needed” opportunity that takes place during the spring and fall.
Ongoing need for new beach items to replace those that are lost or broken during play. Donations are needed for beach items:
- sand toys
- beach chairs
- cozy beach towels
Anyone can become a volunteer by organizing and hosting a wish list drive for our respite facilities:
- school - clubs, classroom projects, or a student
- community - clubs, social groups, faith-based, or birthday party
- work - departments, co-workers, or casual Friday
