Event Volunteer

Volunteering at events is a huge help to Furnace Town and we host a wide variety of events. Anything from our biggest event our renaissance festival, to our holiday celebrations, so no matter what, there is something for you. Volunteering at an event is a great way to get involved in the local community and gets you free admission to that event.

Gardens and Grounds Volunteer

Our gardens and grounds are all volunteer kept and managed, we are always in need of more gardeners and people to help with grounds work. If you are someone who is in tune with nature or wants to garden, please come out and volunteer with our gardens and grounds team. No experience is necessary.

Furnace Town offers many volunteer opportunities for people of all ages and abilities.

Additional Information

Dedicated to preserving the Nassawango Iron Furnace and engaging the public in the culture of our shared past. Furnace Town Living History Village preserves our shared cultural heritage for the benefit of future generations. With our collection of historic nineteenth-century buildings and artisans' studios surrounding the Nassawango Iron Furnace, we are a learning center for the study of our history, and it provides a concrete basis for ideas and traditions that help inform who we are and where we came from.
