Calvin B. Taylor Museum - Docent Volunteers

Interested in talking about historical facts? Do you like talking to interesting new people? 

Docent educate visitors about the history of the Calvin B Taylor house’s history and the collections. Welcome and introduce visitors to Calvin B. Taylor House. They provide guided tours. They also introduce and assist with self-guided tours. Docents usually serve only five afternoons during the summer months. The Museum is open from Memorial Day weekend through the end of October on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.

A carefully restored early nineteenth century house, located in Berlin’s National Register Historic District, the main block of the house has been furnished as a house museum and the west wing as a gallery displaying local memorabilia.
